Surrey Policy Enforcement Officers harrass driver.
One of our contributors, Dan from Surrey submitted this article about the "anything goes" extortion racket to take money from the motorist and of course get cars off the road by issuing as many tickets as possible. This exposes the robotic stupidity of policy enforcement officers who, of course, have no duty to the public just to revenue collecting.
"After pulling out of a pub car park in a quiet country area in Surrey I was immediately tailed by a car, the driver was racing behind me and driving aggressively. I could not pull over as the road was full of blind corners and is hard work in daylight and considerably more dangerous in the dark.
The driver was right on my tail and I was blinded by the headlights in my rear view mirror. I thought it may be a lunatic, as whoever was behind the wheel seemed to have no sense whatsoever. At the bottom of a hill I turned onto a dual carriageway and drove down the middle of the road to get out of the full beam of the headlights. Then a little flashing blue light started up on the cars front grill. Yes, a POLICY ENFORCEMENT OFFICER!
I pulled over, got out of the car and went over to the driver, who was a policy enforcement officer for Surrey Police. I asked him what he thought he was doing harrassing motorists and driving aggressively. I also stated that his actions were dangerous. He said "Well, you nearly hit a kerb", now this is classic brainwashing of the type going on in all the public sector. Im glad I didnt think about hitting a kerb or this would have been a thought crime! He also stated that I could have pulled over but was at a loss to tell me where would have been safe to do this.
The next chestnut was of course to be breath tested. I stated I had not done anything wrong and did not consent. Then he immediately slammed on the handcuffs and read me my rights. I realised at this point that according to him I had none. As I refused the breath test he called out for backup. Five minutes later a car full of surly looking plods turned up.
As I was pretty tired and didn't want to spend a night in Croydon, I then agreed and of course passed the test. As I was being harrassed I decided to make them work for their money.
He then demanded my name which I refused to give, so out came the handcuffs again! Eventually, after protesting about his actions I asked him again what did he think he was doing driving aggressively and harrassing motorists on quiet country roads in an unmarked car. He replied boldy and with no hint of irony "catching criminals." I informed him that he definitely wasn't doing that. After running a vehicle check he decided to issue me with a fixed penalty notice as the MOT was a few days out as I had not been able to book into the garage before the weekend. Any future paperwork relating to this highway robbery will of course be sent straight back!
Interestingly, the notice had "Motorist signature (request only)" where it had to be signed. Interesting point as now you don't even have to be there when they fine you!"
This is an important loss of lawful process, as the signature is and was, the contract on any kind of statement This was not like a parking ticket, it is an unchallengable fine which you do not even have to sign. Now you don't even have to be there to be fined! This means all laws of contract have now been discarded. When the system breaks its own laws of contract then it becomes clear that the slaves are there purely for revenue raising.
After the ticket had been issued I approached the surly plods in the backup vehicle and told them what I thought of the drivers irresponsible and aggressive driving. I also stated that there were many nutters on the road and he could easily have been harrassing a lone female. Plod 1 replied "Well it's an umarked car isnt it?" He then demanded to know where I was going.
I said East London to which he replied "It's the other way". As I was going round the M25 I put him right. They then set off and went ahead of me onto the M25. After a mile, a VOSA vehicle pulled out and followed me flashing its lights. It appeared the policy enforcement officers wanted to get some more wedge from me because I'd challenged them. The VOSA vehicle flashed its lights, pulled up alongside me and then cut in front. I overtook it and never saw it again. I presume the policy enforcement officers must have pulled off to get more booty from motorists on the quiet country roads of Surrey, which would be rich pickings on a Friday night. Traffic Enforcement need policy enforcement with them. They can't stop you on their own. The cops attitude and harrassment was absolutely disgraceful.
If this happens to you, make sure you let them know what they are doing is wrong, they really must learn that the public will not take this. Police are intended to prevent and solve crime, pushing people into driving so that they break the law or stopping people on the off-chance they could be a possible revenue stream is not acceptable".
